This is an opportunity for a young person that needs a university runabout, a new mechanic needing a car to practice on, or perhaps someone who is down on their luck and needs something to get them to that new job.

WARNING: This is not a perfect car - it needs work - it needs tinkering.

But it is a solid platform with a strong little engine, and it has great potential.

1) Eligibility: The giveaway is only open to individuals who are citizens or legal residents of the Republic of South Africa, are 18 years or older, and hold a valid driver's license.

2) Entry Requirements: In order to be eligible to win, participants need to be nominated through the submission of the entry form found on this page. Entries sent in any other format will unfortunately not be considered.

3) Entry Deadline: 22 May 2023.

4) Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.

5) Prize: The prize is a running VW Beach Buggy project car with a number of outstanding repairs and minor issues, only. All repairs and fees associated with the transfer of ownership to the winner will be for the winner's account. All fees and costs associated with the pickup / delivery of the vehicle will be for the winner's account.

6) Notification: The winner will be notified via email, phone, or social media and will have three (3) working days to claim their prize before it is forfeited.

7) Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner will be required to allow their name and likeness to be used for promotional purposes.

8) Release of Liability: Participants will be required to release the giveaway sponsors from any liability associated with participation in the giveaway or use of the prize.

9) Disqualification: The giveaway sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entry or participant that violates the terms and conditions or attempts to manipulate the giveaway process.

10) Modifications: The giveaway sponsors reserve the right to modify or cancel the giveaway at any time and for any reason, without liability to participants.
